We aim to ensure that new knowledge is created and then used in policy and practice. In doing so, we support health system innovation and create new enterprise opportunities.

The mission of the Irish Research Council is to support excellence in research talent, knowledge and engagement. Our Strategic Plan 2020-2024 sets out how we will achieve this over the next five years.
